Checkin in
Gosh, I didn't realize how long it has been since my last blog.....
Been tremendously busy.....
The Ellerbe-Rosenthal family is doing great. Thanks to all of you who sent wonderful thoughts and prayers to this family. I love them like they are my own.....right now, Brooke-Lynn, Curtis, and Audriara are my only "grandkids". Adopted as they may be, I could not love them more that if they were my very own. Thanks to Mark and Crystal for sharing them with us.
On September 1st, I took on working for another attorney in addition to the current one. Wow is all I can say....it has been a whirlwind of business and trying to get the new guy's office organized. Lets just say I have my work cut out for me.
We recently remembered our beloved Brian on the first anniversary of his death and most recently his 16th birthday. We still miss him so much each and every single day. I can honestly say that I talk to his picture every day. He looked alot like Aric in his last school pic. It's still just the saddest thing to loose a life so young with so much promise. I always think of him on Friday Night Football! Go Donkeys!
Asa is still busy at The Home Depot, Aric is working hard trying to get his life on track and Ara is doing well too. She should be back in class again at the first of the year. She also has a new fella, John. Seems like a good kid and we really like him. They seem good for each other.
Well gotta run....work is calling my name.....Peace and Love~C

Happy 21st Birday Ara Ranee Owens
Oh my goodness, I sit here thinking about nearly 21 years ago at this time...at the time I was wishing my baby to be born today on my Grandma's birthday....not to happen the way I planned....in 8 hours and 33 minutes we will be celebrating the 21st birthday of my beautiful daughter. Ara Ranee Owens was born on April 9, 1988 at 1:18 a.m. She weighed 7-1/2 lbs and was 19 inches long. Now she all grown up into a beautiful young lady, brillantly smart, determined, stubborn, hard headed, kind, thoughtful.....I'm proud to be her mother.

I love Fridays!
Just sitting here thinking about how much I love Fridays. Thank God It's Friday!!!!!
The end of the work week, football games, dinner out with the hub or family or friends, bowling, movies or anything else fun to do.
Friday always makes me think of Brian too. His life was just way too short. I love you B and I miss you so much!
It really amazes me how the people we love really affect our lives. Most often we take everything for granted (whether we mean to or not) but I'm here to tell you don't do it, pay attention. Most especially to all of the smallest details you don't think matter. Never ever stay angry with someone you love. Remember you can't take it back once it flies out of your mouth.
Tell them how much you love them and never assume they know you do. We were not made to be mind readers and for those of you who have that gift, lucky you huh.
It can all be gone in a flash with a blink of an eye. Lesa knows all to well. I'm sorry for her loss and I ask God to give her strength every day. For Haley too as she struggles with being a teenager and the one who lost her beloved boyfriend. Be strong and live on.
Life is short, way too short for some, but short just the same. Tell those you love that you love them and appreciate the gift they are to you in your life.
